Plus I seem to be fighting off a little cold. I'm putting up a battle though complete with echinacea and sinusalia. I REFUSE to be sick because then I can't be with the baby. I'd have to stay at my sister's in laws' house. :(((((((

OH MY GOODNESS. I realized today that 3 weeks from tomorrow I'll be in Vermont. I'm not decorating for Christmas here at home since I'll be having Christmas in Vermont. (My BIL and I are in charge of the tree. It will be their first one. I'm bringing lights and decorations. He's in charge of the tree.)

I'M GETTING SO EXCITED.

So, since I got a bunch of work accomplished today and I'm totally in the Holiday Spirit, I'm working on my Christmas Cards. However, my fandom list is rather small this year...but it's not too late.

I'm so excited about Christmas. I'm really looking forward to the festivities this year. I only have two more things to buy, a few gifts to wrap (none of them mine...I have to wrap a couple of the gifts my sis sent from NY), and one more trip to the grocery store. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I can't wait to decorate sugar cookies with chet_lemon this weekend, watch season 2 of VERONICA MARS with her (it was $15 at amazon so I snatched it up) while the lights are all sparkling on the tree and we'll drink hot cocoa and relax in candle and christmas lights light. *iz huge dork* (Oh and I cannot WAIT for the A CHRISTMAS STORY marathon that starts on Christmas Eve....)

Also, you guys are amazing. I've gotten cards and packages almost everyday for the past 2 weeks. I'll be doing a HUGE thank you post soon but know this now, I love and appreciate you all so very much!

I came back to the most wonderful fandom of all! You guys have made me feel so loved today with all the birthday posts, porn just for me, a vid just for me, graphics, ecards, virtual gifts on LJ and love (not_yet_defined I'm wearing my socks and some of the honey jasmine ;)). I cannot even begin to thank you all enough for adding so much to my birthday. I'm still finding posts so if you haven't received a kiss and thank you from me yet, it's on it's way. XOXOXO

ION, my sister, chet_lemon, is a GENIUS. She successfully defended her master's essay today. She has a master's degree and I am very proud of her. We went out to dinner with our dad and were going to do other fun things, but I'm a bit jet lagged. LOL

Now, I'm listening to THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY CHRISTMAS ALBUM and doing Christmas cards. WHEEEEEEEEE I know I said this just before I left, but this is really the last call. If you'd like a card from me, please comment at THIS POST.

Here, laugh with me. Remember how I said I was having problems with my new digital camera. Yeah, well, I was the problem. ROFL. I'd loade the battery wrong. I just this minute figured it out. I told you all I was a tech tard.

Sometimes, when I pause to think about it, I'm amazed that I love Christmas as much as I do, considering when my mom died, but I do love it and I'm really excited about this year.

I'm delighted that Christmas lights are going up all around. I can't wait for snow. Driving around looking at lights reflecting off freshly fallen snow is so relaxing.

I live to shop for the perfect gifts for the people that I love and I don't even really mind the crowds (that ONLY happens around Christmas time hee hee). I love to decorate and I can't wait to do that once I get back from California.

This year, I'm especially excited because I get to visit xie_xie_xie during the season. I'm looking forward to my trip.
