HI guys!

I'm sorry I just disappeared after posting all the treats from the FALL CONTEST.

I had some further complications with Champ. He ended up in the ER on Halloween night and spent the weekend there. Then, yesterday morning, I picked him up and immediately transported him to a specialty hospital where he had an appointment with a specialist in internal medicine. (BTW, if you're in Michigan, I cannot recommend Oakland Veterinary Referral Hospital enough.) It was decided by the doctor, myself and my two consultants (my sister and my BFF Xie) that he needed surgery to place a stomach feeding tube. (Supposedly, this will make feeding and medicating my beloved kitty easier and more effective. Please cross your fingers!)

Anyway, I just got the call and surgery went fine. Champ is groggy but awake and hopefully he'll be coming home tomorrow.

Thank you so much to everyone who sent me private messages, left comments or sent me emails. I appreciate you all more than you could possibly know!

Oh darling, I'm so sorry I have not been around to offer some support. I had no internet. Even my phone went out. I am wishing really hard that Champ will be ok and that so will you.

So happy to see this update - I've been thinking about you and hoping things were going well. It sounds like Champ is getting the best care. Looking forward to hearing that he's back home soon, where you can cuddle him all better. xo
