Dear Fandom:

My dearest friend, our sweet,

xie_xie_xie has asked me to update you about her Mom again. Unfortunately there were some setbacks after surgery but her Mom is now resting peacefully and they are bringing her home to spend her remaining days there.

As always, Xie thanks you for all the love and support you've been sending her way.

ETA: I just learned that they're not going to be able to bring her home afterall. They're saying their goodbyes.

My phone died, and ate your number. If you're gonna be up around 6 my time, email me your number. I've been so busy that I haven't made it to a Sprint store to get my phone fixed.

For the record, this FUCKING BLOWS.

I am so glad that I got to meet her at Xie's b'day party. She was funny as hell. And I haven't been able to get down there since early June. Again, BLOWS.

Please send Xie my love. If there is anything she needs or anything I can do for her, let me know. I don't know what is going on what now, but so many people I know are losing loved ones some expected, others not. There just seems to be so much death right now.
