Have you ever had a weekend that was sucked into a black hole?

That's how I feel about this past weekend. On Saturday chet_lemon and I attended a BBQ with our dad for his PTSD group at Belle Isle in Detroit. We had a good time but had to leave 1. because it started getting hotter than fuck and 2. we had to shop for a baby shower gift. Three stores later and I was finally satisfied, dehydrated (from the heat) and exhausted. I passed out very early.

Then on Sunday, I started a purge or as thunderinglunie calls it: excavating. lol I'm getting rid of crap that I've allowed to accululate for years. Plus I'm getting myself all organized. I'm hoping that once this is done, the new schedule I've implemented for myself will be more functionable. I'll time for EVERYTHING. I can't wait to be done.

In other exciting news, I pulled out my Halloween totes (yes plural) and I'm going to put up Halloween Corner later this week. Yep, it's official, I'm in the Halloween spirit. Part of what got me there was my HALLOWEEN CONTEST
